You were like a meadow with blue sky overshadowing

Beautifully outspread, inviting heart to release the weariness

A tranquil field to soothe the uneasy feelings

With the never-ending serenade about sincerity,

     patience, caring and understanding

You are the joys, a godsend for me

 

You were you, and I was I, we were two before our time

I didn’t know what love felt like, until the moment we walked side by side

The very next moment I knew that you are everywhere, in every second of my days

And there’ve been some new feelings that I would never find words for

Deep inside, my heart was so mild, as the day I called you mine

 

You’ve been always simple, in attitude and thoughts

Nature gives you a wonderfulness as a reliable person

And I thank God for having let me and our darlings to be a part of you
