Damai tertera di langit biru
Menyapa bumi yang riuh rendah
Menenangkan semua makhluk yang gelisah
Jiwaku mengharu-biru menggapainya

Damai mengheningkan kegaduhan
Ia mengisi batin yang hampa
Memberi kesejukan bagi semua yang gersang
Ia mengajarku untuk bahagia dengan caranya.

Damai membuatku ramah pada diri sendiri
Merendah atas kebanggaan diri
Berdamai dengan kepedihan
Ia menemaniku menghitung setiap berkat

Bahagia membentang di semesta
Bergulung bersama gelombang gairah
Menyelinap disela-sela kerikil kehidupan
Berteriak lantang mengusir kepahitan
Suatu ketabahan yang menihilkan benci dan dendam

Bahagia tersaji hangat dan nikmat
Di cangkir kopiku, di mangkok rawonku, di pincuk pecelku
Ia merambat di nadi, mengisi sela-sela sendi
Memompa hasrat ketulusan ke jantung
dan menebarkan kearifan dalam ucap dan sikap

Bahagia ada di keseharian,
bebas dan tidak berprasangka, sederhana dan tidak gentar

Bahagia adalah hening dan damai yang kurangkai dalam jiwa

Morning notes: Be thankful – Catatan pagi: Bersyukur (2 versions: English & Bahasa Indonesia)

Because in real, there are always things we should be thankful for in every second of our lives

Getting up in the morning in health blessings, in the regularity of breath, having time, intention and ability for morning prayer, being able to move the limbs according to the command from clear and healthy brain, hearing the sounds of nature and inhaling all of goodness, opening the door of the house, the door of the heart, the eyes of the soul, and the mind for all the goodness, tenderness and strength that nature provides.

Having chance and ability to set choices and make decisions on every side, angle, arch, length, valley and hill of life. Instinctively, applying the simplicity that lightens the soul, the intelligence that elevates the dignity, the truth that protects the heart. Having a good family life, a qualified social life, an eloquence in taking responsibility, a reasonableness in thinking and acting, a sensitivity as a balancer to the assertiveness, passion and enthusiasm as self-fulfillment.

Being able to feel the fatigue as an accomplishment, smile over mistakes of experience-worth, laugh as a manifestation of respect for life, self-forgive for a conscious stupidity, tolerate to lack of self-ability , create the right lashs as a trigger for more self-achievement.

Being able to put something that is not obtained or something missing as a reminder to count the blessings and give thanks for everything that has been obtained and owned.

Being able to rest without burden, having a quiet moment for evening prayer and being thankful for all grace, contemplating on goodness and glory, compiling humility and patience, building plans for a better tomorrow.

Above those all, thankful for I’m the beloved of the Most-Gracious-One.

Karena senyatanya selalu ada hal yang patut kita syukuri di setiap detik kehidupan kita

Bangun pagi dalam berkat kesehatan, dalam keteraturan napas, punya waktu, niat dan kemampuan untuk berdoa pagi, bisa menggerakkan anggota tubuh sesuai perintah otak yang jernih dan sehat, mendengar suara alam dan menghirup segala kebaikannya, membuka pintu rumah, pintu hati, mata jiwa, dan pikiran bagi segala kebaikan, kelembutan dan kekuatan yang disediakan alam.

Punya kesempatan dan kemampuan untuk menentukan pilihan dan membuat keputusan di setiap sisi, sudut, lengkung, panjang, lembah dan bukit kehidupan. Bernaluri dalam menerapkan kesederhanaan yang meringankan jiwa, kecerdasan yang meninggikan harkat, kebenaran yang melindungi hati.

Memiliki kehidupan berkeluarga yang baik, kehidupan sosial yang mumpuni, kefasihan menjalani tanggung jawab, kewajaran dalam berpikir dan bertindak, kepekaan sebagai penyeimbang ketegasan, minat dan antusiasme sebagai pemenuhan diri.

Bisa merasakan lelah sebagai prestasi, tersenyum atas kekeliruan yang bernilai pengalaman, tertawa sebagai bentuk penghargaan terhadap kehidupan, memaafkan diri atas kebodohan yang disadari, bertoleransi terhadap kekurang-piawaian diri, menciptakan lecutan yang tepat sebagai pemicu untuk pencapaian diri yang lebih.

Bisa menempatkan sesuatu yang tidak diperoleh atau sesuatu yang hilang sebagai pengingat untuk menghitung berkat dan bersyukur atas segala sesuatu yang telah diperoleh dan dimiliki.

Bisa beristirahat tanpa beban, punya saat hening untuk berdoa malam dan mensyukuri semua anugerah, merenung tentang kebaikan dan keindahan, menata kerendahan hati dan kesabaran, membangun rencana untuk esok yang lebih baik.

Lebih dari semua itu, bersyukur karena saya adalah milik Dia Yang Maha Pengasih.

Let’s cook ~ Tofu and Minced Beef in Tausi Sauce

Ingredients:

* 100 gr minced beef

* 2 pcs egg tofu, slice 1 cm

* 1 tablespoon canned tausi

* red chili, sliced

* onion, sliced

* garlic, chopped

* 2 cm ginger, sliced thin

* spring onion, sliced

* oyster sauce

* soy sauce

* fish sauce

* sugar, if needed

* salt

* white pepper

* water sufficiently

*1 tablespoon maizena, diluted in sufficient water

*2 tablespoons cooking oil

*1 tablespoon sesame oil

Cooking steps:

* marinate minced beef with soy sauce, fish sauce, white pepper. Set aside.

* fry tofu until skinned. Set aside.

* sauté garlic, onion, ginger in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, stir until it smells good

* add red chili, then minced beef, stir until the meat changes  color

* add fried tofu, tausi, oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, and a little water

* add salt, sugar, white pepper, cook well until the meat is tender

* add diluted maizena and spring onion, cook until the sauce thickens

* ready to serve

Let’s cook ~ Spicy Stirfry Salted Jambal Fish and Long Beans plus Petai

Ingredients:

* 150 gr salted jambal fish, diced cut

* 1 bundle long beans, cut 2 cm

* 100 gr petai, sliced

* cayenne (cabe rawit), sliced

* red chili, sliced

* green chili, sliced

* tomato, diced cut

* onion, sliced

* garlic, chopped

* lime leaves, remove it’s spine, sliced thin

* sugar, a pinch

* salt, if needed

* 4 table spoons cooking oil

Cooking steps:

* well fry the salted jambal fish, set aside

* sauté garlic and onion in 4 tablespoons of cooking oil, stir until it smells good

* add cayenne, red chili and green chili, stir 1 minute

* add long beans, stir and cook until wilted

* add petai, stir 2 minutes

* add fried jambal fish, stir well

* add sugar, salt, tomato, lime leaves, stir until all mixed

* ready to serve

Let’s cook ~ Sauteed Vermicelli Vegetables Chicken

* 200 gr vermicelli, put into normal water to soften

* 150 gr chicken boneless breast, diced cut

* 1 bundle mustard greens (caisim/sawi hijau)

* witloof (sawi putih)

* bean sprouts (tauge)

* half piece carrot, sliced thin

* 2 eggs

* spring onion, sliced

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

* salt

* white pepper

* fish sauce (kecap ikan)

* 2 table spoons cooking oil

Cooking steps:

* make scramble egg, set aside

* sauté garlic and onion in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, stir until it smells good

* add chicken, stir until the chicken meat turns to white

* add carrot, stir 2 minutes

* add mustard greens, witloof, and bean sprouts, stir 2 minutes

* add scrambled egg, stir until all mixed

* add fish sauce, salt, white pepper

* add spring onion, stir a while, ready to serve

Let’s cook ~ Vegetables Vermicelli Chicken Stirfried

Vermicelli cooked with vegetable is always favorite to me and my family.

 

Ingredients:

* 200 gr vermicelli, put into normal water to soften

* 150 gr chicken boneless breast, diced cut

* Broccoli

* Mustard greens (caisim/sawi hijau)

* Cabagge

* half piece carrot, sliced as matchsticks

* 50 gr black fungus (black ear fungus), put into water to soften, then sliced thin

* spring onion, sliced

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

* 3 pcs red chili, sliced thin sloping

* half piece tomato, slice into 4 pcs

* salt

* white pepper

* 2 table spoons cooking oil

Cooking steps:

* sauté garlic and onion in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, stir until it smells good

* add chicken, and red chili, stir until the chicken meat turns to white

* add carrot and broccoli, stir 2 minutes

* add mustard greens and  cabbage, stir 2 minutes

* add black fungus, then vermicelli, stir until all mixed

* add salt, white pepper

* add spring onion and tomato

* served upon cooked is best

Let’s cook ~Meatball and Fishball with Vegetable Soup

With garlic and ginger being sautéed in sesame oil, this soup offers an enjoyable warmth

 

Ingredients:

* 8 pcs meatbal, cut 4 each

* 8 pcs fishball, cut 4 each

* half piece carrot, sliced thin

* mustard curly (sawi keriting)

* spring onion, sliced

* half piece tomato, slice into 8 pcs

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

* 1,5 cm ginger, sliced

* salt

* white pepper

* 2 table spoons sesame oil

* 1500 ml water

Cooking steps:

* sauté garlic, onion  and ginger in 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, stir until it smells good

* add carrot, stir 1 minute

* add meatballs and fishballs, stir 1 minute

* add salt and white pepper

* add water, cook until its boiling point

* add mustard curly, stir

* the last, add the sliced spring onion and tomato

* served while the soup is still hot/warm

A single portion for my lunch

 

Ingredients:

* Spiral colourful pasta, boiled with half tablespoon salt in boiling water

* boneless breast chicken cutlets

* 2 cm carrot, chopped rough

* mustard green (sawi hijau/caisim)

* lettuce

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

*red chilli and cayenne (cabe rawit)

* 3 pcs lime leaves, sliced

* salt

* white pepper

* 2 tablespoons olive oil

* sauté garlic, onion and chillies in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, stir until it smells good

* add chicken, stir until the chicken meat turns to white

* add carrot, stir 2 minutes

* add salt and white pepper

* add mustard green and lettuce

* add boiled pasta, stir until everything’s well mixed

* the last, add sliced lime leaves, stir a while

Let’s Cook ~ Fishcake, tofu and string beans spicy stirfried

Do enjoy the flavor of lime leaves again from this simple dish.

 

 Ingredients:

*  6 pieces fishcake (ready-made), sliced sloping

* 1 pc white tofu, cut, fried, set aside

* 100 gr string beans, cut 2cm

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

* red chili and cayenne, cut          

* 3 pcs lime leaves, sliced thin

* salt

* white pepper

* cooking oil

Cooking steps:

* sauté garlic, onion, and chilies in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, stir until it smells good

* add fishcake, stir 2 minutes

* add string beans, stir 3 minutes

* add fried tofu, stir 2 minutes

* add salt, white pepper, stir until everything is well mixed

* the last, sprinkle the lime leaves onto the dish, stir a while until the aroma of lime leaves is smelled

Let’s cook ~ Broccoli Fishballs in Oyster Sauce

I always love the aroma of ginger, garlic and onion being sauted in olive oil.

 

Ingredients:

* broccoli

* half piece carrot, sliced as matchsticks

* 8 pcs fishball, cut half, then sliced

* 1 egg, make omelette, then sliced thin, set aside

* spring onion, sliced

* onion, chopped

* garlic, chopped

* salt

* white pepper

* 1,5 cm ginger, sliced

* oyster sauce

* soy sauce(kecap manis), if like

* 2 table spoons olive oil

* sauté garlic, onion, and ginger in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, stir until it smells good

* add fishball, stir 1 minute

* add carrot and broccoli, stir 3 minutes

* add salt, white pepper, oyster sauce, and soy sauce

* put some thin slices of omelette as garnish
