Mama – a poem

There were times that I tell you,

     You’re so tough and stoic

     To bear the pain inside

     To accommodate our sighing

To comfort us with your smile and love

There were times that I cry for you,

As I saw cloudiness in your eyes

It’s probably because of your anxiety about us

Or about the feeling of unfulfilled desires to cheer us

I can feel your strong wishes to drive out all of our restlessness

There were countless times that I am so proud of you

For knowing that I have an extraordinary, yet earthy, woman in my life

Feeling grateful for I’m the part of your very life

And being boundlessly blissful as God gave me

aplenty beautiful moments to share with you until your leaving

Now, never a day I do not whispering to call you

I cry no more, as I believe you are the part of eternal happiness

This sorrow stays, shall not fade, always there in between of my joyfulness

The belief that you are here forever in my heart, is the only consolation for me

    I love you, Mama, indefinitely….
