There was a time on your wedding day today

My thoughts had wander far into the years back

When I brought my baby girl home, hold her tight as hugging my soul

It seems like only yesterday

I used to smile watching you play with your cute dolls

and delightfully showed your funny doodles to my friends

Through teenage years, you set your steps

And my little girl became my best friend

We’d browse the stores, try on beautiful dresses, for hours

I’ve been so happy as you always made your decision after asking for my opinion

How fast the years have flown…

Today I’ve witnessed your marriage ceremony

In your lilywhite bridal gown, you had become a gracefully gorgeous young lady

As you were walking down the aisle, my heart was so full of pride

You will always mean the world to me

All the memories made of pure gold

My love for you flows in rhythm of my breath
